Physis é uma palavra grega análoga ao português ser, crescer, tornar-se; geralmente traduzida como Natureza. Um desenvolvimento natural que evidencia sua origem e seu processo. A realidade que se encontra em movimento e transformação, o futuro eterno, perene, imortal e imperecível de onde tudo brota e para onde tudo retorna. Mudança contínua dos seres e das matérias: o novo que envelhece, o dia que se torna noite, o verão que segue a primavera, a árvore que nasce de e gera sementes. A fotografia é como uma metáfora de Physis: transformação e continuidade do tempo.

Physis is a Greek word cognate with English to be, growing, becoming, and usually translated as Nature. A natural development that evidences its origin and its process. The reality that is in movement and transformation, the eternal future, perennial, immortal and imperishable from which everything sprouts and from where everything returns. Continuous changes of the beings and matters: the new that gets old, the day that becomes night, the summer that follows spring, the tree that comes from and generates seeds. Photography is a metaphor to Physis: transformation and continuity of time.
